About

I help mission-driven organizations think strategically about program design, participatory engagement and sustainability. I’m also an open advocate, spending much of my career advising, advocating and designing for open access to content, data, research and code at Mozilla (1,2), Digital Science , Wikimedia, and Creative Commons.

My current focus in on sustainability, access, and institutional change in the research ecosystem as part of Invest in Open Infrastructure. Prior to this work, I helped the Wikimedia Foundation launch and scale their endowment, raising over $40 million in support to ensure the future of Wikipedia and free knowledge. I’ve also spent time at the Mozilla Foundation, as a Senior Fellow researching data access and public interest tech, as well as on the programmatic side, leading Mozilla’s first ever open science program, and later, overseeing their programmatic portfolio , covering science, learning, advocacy, open internet of things (IoT) and women and web literacy.
